The Landless People’s Movement and its leadership is delighted to inform the public that its Deputy Leader, Hon. Henny Seibeb was discharged yesterday (4 January 2021) from the hospital and is recovering well at home. Hon. Seibeb was hospitalised for two weeks after contracting the dreaded COVID-19, which has claimed many lives of Namibians, including those of prominent leaders in the Namibian political landscape. Upon his discharge, Hon. Seibeb thanked all the families, friends, colleagues, the public and prayer warriors for keeping him in their thoughts, saying “God is great all the time”. He further thanked the physicians, nurses, ambulance drivers, and other frontline workers for their commitment and bravery amid this COVID-19 pandemic.

Hon. Seibeb advised the public to follow existing guidelines in preventing further spread of COVID-19. For now, the LPM appeals to the public to allow Hon. Henny Seibeb to recuperate in peace at home and get the much needed rest for this year. May God bless you all!
